On Tuesday, Republicans in the House and Senate sold out the American people by putting our internet browsing history for sale. Now, activist Adam McElhaney has started a Gofundme page to purchase the internet history of all legislators, congressmen, and their families.
The AVClub reports:
“Self-described “net neutrality activist” Adam McElhaney is attempting to deliver some comeuppance to the Republican lawmakers who approved this measure. A GoFundMe that is currently trending on Reddit is attempting to collect $1 million dollars.”
McElhaney’s goal was originally ten thousand dollars. He has already raised over $94,000 from over 6,000 donors.
